Refurbishment of a national monument in Ennis, Co. Clare.
Coyle Kennedy Limited was appointed structural engineers on the restoration and refurbishment of Irelands First National Monument and Protected Structure. All the works associated with the project required Ministerial Consent before restoration could proceed. The assessment of the building involved complex structural assessment and design to maintain the existing elements and fabric. All existing timber floor joists and roof elements were preserved and strengthened or augmented to meet the required standards.
